Christmas & New Year 2009 |

Some of the special things to look forward to:
- Christmas Eve Carol Service at St. John in the Wilderness
Church. This beautiful little church is a walk down the hill
+ a short taxi ride – and is famed as the final resting
place of Lord Elgin (whose family stole the so called Elgin
Marbles from Greece).
- Traditional style home cooked Christmas lunch of 4 courses
plus gift ‘crackers’, with mulled wine. If the sun
is shining this is served on the lawn/terrace.
- Every guest receives a gift – to be found under the
Christmas Tree.
- New Year’s Eve party: always a high point in the events
of Eagles Nest. Guests enjoy hot Punch drinks and music, a roast
dinner and finally a huge bonfire with a fireworks display out
on The Point, overlooking the lights of Dharamsala, a thousand
feet below
